Are you a licensed Moneylender?

No, we do not provide Moneylending services.

Do you provide loans to settle all debts?

No, we do not provide any form of loans to individuals who wants to resolve their debt.

Does Debt Aid offer the same services as DCP and CCS?

We do not offer the same services. DCP is an initiative set up by the Bank Associations while CCS is a member organisation under National Council of Social Service (NCSS) that provides debt advising.

How can Debt Aid assist?

We provide a 1-1 Personalised Private Consultation where we explore different types of debt settlement options for individuals. We assist to consolidate all unsecured owing and provide a feasible repayment plan over a fixed period of time, depending on individuals' income, expenditure and debt size.

How much is your Consultation?

All Consultations are conducted in our Office and it is at No Charge, however, a nominal fee applies should you need our Consultant to meet you at place of your choice.

Can I walk-in for an appointment?

We highly recommend a registration prior to an appointment so that we can minimise contact in our office to protect all of your identities.

Will Debt Aid be informing my family members or workplace about my situation?

All information are strictly confidential and abide by PDPA hence no one will know.

Will my Credit Score be affected while I am under the Repayment Scheme?

While you are clearing your debt, you are also on your way towards creating a better credit score.

Why does my principle loan amount remains the same for many years now regardless payments I made to Creditors?

This happens because you may be servicing the loans by repaying minimum amount only. Minimum payment made to creditors will only lower your interest amount not the principle amount.

I have been sued bankrupt by a creditor, can Debt Aid still assist?

Yes, we can assist you with the process and many of times most cases do not end up with Bankruptcy if you reach out to us early.

What is Debt Repayment Scheme ?

A Scheme launched by Government in 2009 to avoid Bankruptcy where all unsecured liabilities not exceeding $150,000 are consolidated and repayment is fixed over a period of time, not more than 5 years.
